BB on a motorbike

Not a Harley. Certainly a japan bike. But the two guys behind Brigitte Bardot seem making off a movie like "Les Valseuses" ...

mardi 27 octobre 2009

Kickstart is the only means of starting a real bike!!!!!

Yellow Jackets

Yellow Jackets and 13 Rebels MC.

Bob Mc Millen

I have a deep admiration for first MC, those of the beginning, those which made history, here are some.
I make a point of thanking Jedd of Wing Nuts MC for some photos, and his blog in general.
Let us start with the Yellow Jackets MC. It's one of my favorites. Go to Wing Nut MC for more history of Bob Mc Millen, one member of the YJMC!

An Indian ? Nice pins on a classic period hat...

...and the 13 Rebels MC sticker on the tank.

Harley Davidson 1940EL Knucklehead

A pure beauty, Japan.

Two pictures found on internet about the same trip in 1947.

A scan of two originals water slide decals.

I do like all pictures about trips, journey, coast to coast with a bike.
These photos are taken from somewhere in the webworld. They're about the happiness of riding across lonely landscapes, straight highways with the sun and dust on the face.

Enjoy men.

Dayton

A remarkable (and very rare) Buco jacket, seen on e-bay these days. Unfortunately my finances prohibits to be able to buy!!!!!
Fabulous in this condition!!!!

My birthday present from my buddy, 4 originals photographs!!!
Not much informations on these photographs. Just a guy which made a coas to coast in 1947 and which took care to photograph its trip!
A Coast to Coast in 47, what trip!!!!!

A book of Rin Tanaka, it's to say the quality of the texts, photographs, general presentation, paper...
The book is centered more on evolution of clothing of 1900 to the 50' S. But it's also a superb testimony covering 50 years, with superb pictures.
Attention, the books of Tanaka quickly become collectors.
Absolutely fabulous!!!!!

The 2008 flyer of the Linkert Attacks!!!!! R'N'R Baby!!!!!
Fred and his Knucklehead!
Certainly one of most beautiful Knuck in France, Absolutely in original condition, with NOS and rares accessories . Fred organizes The "Linkert Attacks", The most Kool meeting reserved for the iron motors only. The 2010 edition should be excellent like the precedents. Some pictures at the beginning of July on this blog!!!!!!

Another picture of Serge and his Panhead.

Serge and his 52' Panhead!

lundi 12 octobre 2009

Roll up jeans, engineer boots, sweater...R'N'R!!! Yeah Baby!!!
